Trirex SC4-3022PN1 is a polycarbonate poly-siloxane copolymer (Si-PC) which exhibits excellent low temperature ductility, impact toughness and chemical resistance.
This material has been specifically developed as potential PC-ABS replacement in chemically aggressive end use environments such as hospitals to limit stress cracking of medical device housings.
Key features:
-Excellent resistance to strong chemical disinfectants
-Resistant to 72 of the most commonly used disinfectants in hospital, outperforming other materials
-Improved stress crack resistance vs PC-ABS
-UL-94 V0 @ 1.5mm, 3mm
-Notification of change
Potential applications:
-Medical housings (eg. Ultrasonic machine housing)
