Samyang are a South Korean polycarbonate producer headquartered in Seoul and are Korea's first producer of PC, operating a 130kt capacity plant in Jeonju. Samyang have a fully integrated production and are producing BPA one of the key building blocks of polycarbonate. Samyang produce PC using interfacial polymerization which results in a high quality PC (comparatively to melt process) and high molecular weight (branched) PC is available.

As well as prime PC, Samyang are also producing PC compounds - flame retardant, light diffusive, plus PC-ABS, PC-PBT, PC-PET & Si-PC

Samyang operate a compound plant in Jaszbereny, Hungary with a 15Kt capacity. Trirex PC materials produced here are typically 'copy paste' and cover flame retardant PC and light diffusive PC.

TRIREX is available in a wide range of grades including coloured, flame retardant, UV stabilized, and glass reinforced. TRIREX offers outstanding impact resistance, clarity, temperature resistance and dimensional stability. TRIREX is used in multiple applications including optical, household, electric / electronics, automotive, power tools, lawn & garden and sporting goods.
