Sustainability in our DNA
Ultrapolymers' history starts with Ravago, founded in 1961 by Raf Van Gorp who embarked on building a business of recycling production waste from the plastics producing petrochemical companies.
Over the years that followed, Ravago has grown from one site in Belgium to a global network of plastics, chemicals and building materials supplying into a vast array of markets.
Ultrapolymers follows in the footsteps of Ravago, endeavouring daily to foster a culture of innovation in sustainability, putting our people and planet first in all that we do.
Within Ravago, we are passionate about ethical operations, wellbeing, fostering a supportive community and reducing our environmental impact.
Our commitment to Operation Clean Sweep minimises the loss of plastic granules to the environment helping to create a pollution free environment for future generations.
What's New?
Ecovadis Silver Medal
In October of 2023, Ultrapolymers was awarded the Ecovadis silver medal, an improvement on the Bronze awarded the previous year.
However, we know this award is not a comfortable pillow we can rest on. In the spirit of the corporate social principles (CSR), we work to continuously improve our processes to strive for Gold in 2024!
