Samyang Kasei are a South Korean polycarbonate producer headquartered in Seoul and are Korea's first PC producer, operating a 130kt capacity plant in Jeonju, Korea. Samyang have a fully integrated production and are producing BPA one of the key building blocks of polycarbonate. Samyang produce PC using interfacial polymerization which results in a high quality PC (comparatively to melt process) and high molecular weight (branched) PC is available.

TRILOY is based on polycarbonate alloys and offers excellent tensile strength, elongation and impact properties along with temperature resistance and good processability. TRILOY PC/ABS, PC/PBT and PC/PET alloys are used in automotive, computers and communication, household appliances and sporting goods. TRILOY PC/ABS is used in applications requiring good impact resistance; TRILOY PC/PBT alloys are used in applications requiring good chemical resistance to oils and greases as well as good impact resistance. TRILOY PC/PET is used in applications requiring high heat resistance and good surface appearance.

Grades are also available from Samyang's compound plant in Jaszbereny, Hungary.
