Domamid is Domo’s brand of prime PA6 and PA66 materials, offering a wide range of unreinforced, reinforced, impact modified and flame retardant grades. Grades are available in custom colours as a full colour compound or in a dry blend using Domo’s patented XB technology.
In conjuncture with Ultrapolymers, Domo have developed some flexible PA6 grades to replace some PA12 applications. Applications such as pneumatic hoses, co-extruded fuel lines, conduit and cable coatings, which do not necessarily require the chemical resistance offered by PA12, can easily be switched into these readily available and more cost effective PA6 grades.
Domo have also developed a range of materials designed for metal replacement. Domamid HCE exhibits higher stiffness and lower water absorption compared to standard materials, giving improved dimensional stability and better performance once conditioned.
